As part of Lionheart Venues, we are part of a group of contemporary multi-use facilities available for hire throughout Leicestershire. The Lionheart Academies Trust schools have successfully hosted many memorable occasions, events and activities over the years.

We were thrilled to open our brand new sports hall. This new development has provided a significant upgrade to our existing sports facilities, benefiting learners and the wider community.

Martin High School recently had the privilege of hosting a visit from Warning Zone, a Leicester-based charity dedicated to imparting crucial life skills and safeguarding knowledge to children. The focus of this visit was on internet safety, and the Year 8 students had the opportunity to engage in a  presentation aimed at equipping them with the tools to navigate the digital world responsibly.

Berlin History Trip

October 19, 2023

On the first day students visited the Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum to pay their respects to WWII and Holocaust victims. Later, they explored the remains of the Berlin Wall, from where they could enjoy views of the city.In the evening, the students witnessed the Festival of Lights at the Brandenburg Gate, adding a touch of magic to their first day in Berlin. Students enjoy illuminating visit from BBC Bitesize
