AT OUR SCHOOL... we believe with A PROUDER WAY learners can achieve anything. Through promoting the values expressed here our young people not only succeed academically but also socially, spiritually and culturally.
Martin High has a strong community ethos where each learner is part of a caring school community. What this means is that learners are able to access layers of support for both their academic and pastoral needs. We recognise that starting a new school can be both exciting and a little daunting but our transition programme ensures that learners feel confident in their school environment at the start of the academic year.
We pride ourselves in knowing every individual; which helps to ensure that everyone is successful and happy during their time at MHS. Central to our beliefs as a school, every learner has the right to good quality teaching; an aspirational environment, educational opportunities and a close knit school community here a sense of ‘real’ belonging leads to everyone achieving. Here at MHS we want your five years with us to be challenging, exciting and filled with achievement. We look forward to meeting you all and welcoming you into our school.
We are constantly looking to review and improve our parent-teacher communication and collaboration at the Martin High School. We truly believe that we can make the difference to your child’s progress by working closely together with you as a parent or carer.
At the Martin High School we try to keep parents, pupils and anyone interested in the school well informed. We hope you find everything you need.

Most schools and colleges will take students through the process of how to apply for Post 16 providers. However, if this is not the case, students will need to apply independently.
All Post 16 applications are processed through PS16, which is an online system and can be accessed by clicking here.
Students will need to create an account and complete all of the relevant sections, including selecting Cedars Martin as a choice with appropriate subjects.
Cedars Martin will make contact with students to confirm that we have received their application form. If your application is not successful you have the right to appeal this decision.
