As you may know, our school is taking part in an exciting new collaboration - The Shakespeare Project - with three other schools in the area this spring. Each school has put together their own small theatre company, who have worked to produce and reimagine one of Shakespeare's classics in just 30 minutes. Later this term this project you will be able to come and support all the students involved as they perform to a live audience, hosted by Friesland School.

The performances this year are:

    • Friesland School – Macbeth
    • Martin High School – Romeo & Juliet
    • Ockbrook School – Midsummer Night’s Dream (performing only on Tuesday 26th March)
    • Wilsthorpe School – Comedy of Errors

The performances will take place on two nights:

Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th March, starting 7pm

Friesland Performing Arts Centre, Nursery Avenue, Sandiacre, NG10 5AF

Tickets go on sale for ALL schools on Monday 4th March at 8am. Tickets will be available to purchase online at and cost just £5.00 each! We expect these two nights to sell out quickly, so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment!

We do hope you’ll be able to come along to support all the students involved and look forward to seeing you there!
